Happy 4th of July

Happy Independence Day! Today is hands down the best holiday of the year. The day we get to remind the British, WE WON! Flags are flown, parades marched and kids get to wear awesome patriotic clothes. We get to puff out our collective chests and be belligerently patriotic.There are other holidays where you are expected to drink too much, eat till your pants no longer fit or blow things up. None of them involve all 3 simultaneously. There are no crazy lines at the store tomorrow, no cat sweaters to return or hung over trips to church. Just beer, fireworks and hotdogs. We will eat 155 million hot dogs, and 25% of them come from Iowa.  68.3 million cases of beer will be sold today alone.  Happy 4th of July, now go drink some beer and eat some processed meat.
